Foster Homes and Sponsors needed:

Fostering is a rewarding experience. Foster families are the lifeblood of rescue and there are never enough. Foster care provides a loving, temporary home for a cat or dog until an adoptive home is found. The animal provides you with love, joy and the satisfaction of having saved a life.

The time commitment is typically four weeks to several months. Our dogs go to foster homes spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed and heartworm/Lyme tested. Pound Pals cats go to fosters spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed and FeLK/FIV tested. Animals are also flea treated, if needed.

Pound Pals handles all the medical needs and placement of the animal. Please email us for a foster application. We’ll help you find a dog or cat who’s a match.
